Weekly Learning Logs
Why I’m Starting This Cybersecurity Learning Journal
A first post explaining why I am documenting my cybersecurity learning in public.
Overview
I’m starting this learning journal to build a public record of my cybersecurity growth. I am early in my journey, and I want this site to show what I am learning, what I am practicing, and how my thinking improves over time.
What I Was Trying to Learn
My goal is to become more consistent at documenting labs, CTF practice, tool notes, projects, and questions that come up while studying cybersecurity.
What I Did
I created this portfolio as a central place for weekly learning logs, malware lab build notes, CTF reflections, Python, Linux, networking notes, security tool walkthroughs, and career preparation updates.
What I Learned
A portfolio is stronger when it shows evidence instead of claims. I do not need to pretend to be an expert. I need to be accurate, ethical, consistent, and clear about what I am learning.
Cybersecurity Relevance
Security work depends on careful thinking, communication, and judgment. Writing about labs and projects should help me practice those skills while also giving employers a clearer view of my progress.
Next Steps
My next step is to publish regular notes from labs, CTFs, tools, and fundamentals as I build toward security research and malware analysis.
